Work related road accidents are the biggest cause of work-related accidental death.  Between 800 and 1000 people are killed annually in Road Traffic Accidents.

In April 2008, the Corporate Manslaughter Act was passed which enables Companies to be prosecuted if an employee driving on company business is involved in a road traffic accident that kills or injures someone.  It is the employer’s responsibility to ensure that their drivers are adequately trained to be safe on the roads. 

NDAC aims to ensure that organisations have the correct policy in place to fulfil their Duty of Care obligations should one of their employees be involved in a Road Traffic Accident. We offer all that is required to put into place your MORR (Managing Occupational Road Risk) policy.  This can include a full assessment and instigation of policy, or auditing your current policy and implementing any changes which might be required to bring it inline with current HSE guidelines.  Through our sister company NCCC, NDAC also offers driver training in car control techniques that can significantly reduce the risk of being involved in an accident, thus furthering your Duty of Care through corporate driver training.  

We manage the whole process from collecting relevant paperwork through to identifying the needs of each of your drivers using our simple traffic light system and recommending any training courses that it is considered your drivers require.  

NDAC also offers Online Driver Profiling/Assessment and Training which allows you to purchase a user license which allows access to our tier 3 secure internet portal to complete assessment and training in your own time whilst ensuring you fulfil your Duty of Care obligations.
